Taubenreuther Hidden Winch Mounts

The Taubenreuther Hidden Winch Mount is custom designed for each vehicle. The Hidden Winch Mount is Cad designed and the vehicle is checked to ensure that any air bag sensors will not be affected by the mount. Then Taubenreuther select which WARN winches will fit and where the winch solenoid can be mounted (they even check that the solenoid cable is long enough) and then ensure that the winch’s remote receiver is in the correct place.
 
After the initial design and fitting process is complete a winch is installed and the mount/winch is tested at extreme rates and angles – vertically and horizontally. Then Taubenreuther obtain a TUV certification and a prototype mount is issued for manufacturing. The first mounting kit manufactured is re-tested on the vehicle and any changes required are made before manufacturing re commences.
 
To protect from corrosion and to meet the same level of finish that the vehicle manufacturer expects the parts are cataphoretically coated and then plastic coated. A mounting kit certificate is provided with each mount along with a photographic installation guide. If further parts are required such as a longer battery cable, connecting cables or extended plugs then they are also supplied in the kit.
 
When you purchase a Taubenreuther Hidden Winch Mount you will not get a metal plate that fits you vehicle, more or less, but a mounting kit that is manufactured to fit your vehicle in every detail.
